The construction of the magnificent Edition Residences Edgewater is one step closer to reality, as an application for a construction permit has been officially submitted. The proposed 56-story residential tower promises to be a remarkable addition to the city’s skyline.

In addition to the construction permit for the Edition Residences Edgewater, another crucial application has been made to build a seawall, ensuring both the structural integrity and the captivating waterfront experience of the development. Inside the building, there will be 187 homes, a big parking garage with 13 levels, and some office space covering 3,500 square feet. The whole construction area will be huge, covering 1,206,774 square feet. They estimate it will cost around $215,750,000 to build.

The esteemed Coastal Construction company has been assigned the role of contractor, a testament to their expertise and capability in delivering exceptional projects of this magnitude. They plan to start building this Summer after getting $160 million in reservations from people who want to buy one of the condos.

As with any transformative project, there are some challenges to overcome. Specifically, some unit owners of the existing Biscayne 21 condo, which currently occupies the site marked for demolition, are expressing their concerns and resistance to the plan. However, with careful consideration and adherence to necessary regulations, the Edition Residences Edgewater aims to seamlessly blend contemporary living with the area’s rich heritage.

The Edition Residences Edgewater will have a glass tower designed by Arquitectonica, which will be 649 feet tall. The whole property is planned for three towers, and Two Roads is the developer in charge.

With the construction permit in progress and an impressive lineup of amenities, this development promises an elevated standard of living that resonates with the discerning tastes of residents and visitors alike. As the Summer groundbreaking approaches, excitement builds around this transformative venture that will forever shape Miami’s urban identity.
